Autocross 101

Autocross 101

Learn. Drive. Improve.
Hosted at USAIR Motorsports Raceway in partnership with Fox Valley Sports Car Club

We’re teaming up with Fox Valley Sports Car Club to bring in some of the most experienced autocross instructors to prepare you for your first event — or help sharpen your fundamentals.

If you’ve ever been autocross-curious, this is where you start.

What Is Autocross?

Autocross is a timed race from Point A to Point B.

  • No wheel-to-wheel racing

  • You vs. the clock

  • Cones define the course

  • Hitting a cone or going off course adds time

Cars are classed so you compete against similar vehicles.
And no — massive horsepower isn’t required to be fast.

In autocross, your biggest advantages are:

  • Tires

  • Suspension

  • Seat time

  • Driver skill

What Vehicles Can Autocross?

Pretty much anything.

We’ve seen:

  • Honda Fits

  • Dodge Vipers

  • And everything in between

Convertibles require rollover protection.

What Do You Need to Bring?

  • DOT or Snell-approved helmet

  • Closed-toe shoes

  • An open mindset

You will learn something new. And if somehow you don’t? You’ll still walk away with serious seat time.

What Makes This Event Different?

USAIR is uniquely positioned to host both:

  • Parking lot autocross scenarios

  • Real road course track time

You’ll experience both environments in one day — giving you practical cone-course fundamentals and real track application.

Classroom + Track Time

This isn’t just driving. You’ll receive classroom instruction covering:

  • Grip theory & weight transfer

  • How to approach different corner types

  • The importance of vision and looking ahead

  • How to break down a course

  • Parking lot corner drills

  • On-track application

Then you’ll apply it immediately.

Driver Requirements

  • 18 years or older

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Car must pass basic safety inspection

Tentative Schedule

8:00 AM – Gates Open
9:00 AM – Classroom Session
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Hot Track
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Lunch Break
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Hot Track

Autocross 101 is the perfect way to build confidence before your next event — or your first.

Tickets to register will be posted soon.

Drift Week 11

  • USAir Motorsports Raceway (map)

Drift Week 11

New Roads. New Tracks. Same Spirit.

Drift Week 11 registration is officially open. This year, we’re heading through all new parts of the USA, hitting all new tracks — and getting back to the original purpose of Drift Week: To experience as many tracks as possible across the country. Drift Week was built on the idea of breaking out of the local routine. We all love our home tracks. But there’s something different about loading up, chasing new pavement, learning new layouts, and adapting to unfamiliar surfaces day after day.

Why Drift Week?

  • Multiple tracks

  • Back-to-back driving days

  • Road trip energy

  • New layouts

  • New communities

  • Real seat time in real conditions

It’s not just an event. It’s an experience. Here’s the wild part. Tracks have been closing at an alarming rate. Looking at the Drift Week map on the wall, 14 tracks we’ve visited are now closed completely or closed to drifting. Fourteen. That’s exactly why this exists. To drive them while we can. To experience them before they disappear. To create memories at places that might not be there next year. We’re lucky we started this when we did.

All new routes. All new tracks. New parts of the country. Drive hard. Travel far. Experience everything.

If you’ve ever thought about doing it — this is your year.

Autocross with Fox Valley Sports Car Club

Autocross at USAIR

Hosted by Fox Valley Sports Car Club

Fox Valley Sports Car Club returns to USAIR for a full day of autocross competition — precision driving, cone-defined courses, and you against the clock.

Autocross is one of the most accessible and skill-focused forms of motorsports. No wheel-to-wheel racing. No contact. Just clean, technical runs where every tenth of a second counts.

What is Autocross?

  • Timed competition from start to finish

  • Course defined by cones

  • Hitting a cone or going off course adds time

  • Vehicles classed to compete against similar builds

Big horsepower isn’t required to be competitive — grip, balance, and driver input make the difference.

Who Can Participate?

Nearly any street car can autocross.

From daily drivers to track-prepped builds, you’ll see a wide range of vehicles competing. Convertibles require proper rollover protection.

Drivers must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Hold a valid driver’s license

  • Have a DOT or Snell-approved helmet

What to Expect

  • Structured run groups

  • Multiple timed runs

  • Course walk before competition

  • Experienced event staff and timing crew

  • Supportive, skill-focused environment

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or competing for class placement, autocross at USAIR delivers tight layouts, smooth pavement, and a competitive but welcoming atmosphere.

Come test your car. Sharpen your skills. See what you can do against the clock.

Off The Rails: A Fight to the Top of the Rollercoaster

June 6–7, 2026 at USAIR Motorsports Raceway | Shawano, Wisconsin

Off The Rails is not your average drift event — it’s a fresh, aggressive take on grassroots competition. Built around a Top 32 battle bracket, this event throws drivers head-to-head in intense tandem matchups where:

  • Every battle matters

  • Every win earns a reward

  • Every round builds momentum

Unlike traditional competitions that only reward the podium, Off The Rails introduces a tiered prize structure. Drivers earn payouts or prizes after every battle win, with rewards increasing round-by-round — keeping pressure high and drivers fighting all the way to the top.

A Layout Like Never Before

For the first time in USAIR history, the oval is unlocked for drifting. A section of track that has always been off-limits will be integrated into the Off The Rails competition layout. After this event, it returns to restricted status. Once it’s gone — it’s gone.

Qualifying: The Tandem Jam

We’re flipping the script on qualifying. Instead of high-pressure single runs, drivers will participate in a 2-hour Tandem Jam Session.

During this open-format session:

  • Drivers may run unlimited laps

  • Drivers choose their tandem partners

  • Judges evaluate both lead and follow performance

  • Focus is placed on style, commitment, flow, and adaptability

Why a Tandem Jam?

  • More seat time

  • More action for spectators

  • More accurate judging under real tandem conditions

  • Less pressure, more performance

  • Higher energy in pits and on track

Drivers are free to link up, throw down, and showcase consistency across multiple runs. Aggressive leads. Surgical chase runs. Real tandem chemistry. At the conclusion of the jam, judges will select the Top 32 drivers based on overall performance and slot them into the main bracket.

Competition Format

  • Top 32 Battle Bracket

  • Head-to-head tandem eliminations

  • Tiered prize structure (increases each round)

  • No “wait for finals” payout — earn as you climb

Every round builds intensity. Every pass has value.

Tentative Schedule

Saturday
7:00 AM – Gates Open

9:30 AM – Drivers Meeting (Upper Tech Building)

ClubFR Drift Day Limited Edition

Club FR Drift Day limited edition

Hosted at USAIR Motorsports Raceway | Shawano, Wisconsin

What is DDLE?

DDLE stands for Drift Day Limited Edition. Born from an idea by our advanced drivers, DDLE is a refined version of a traditional Drift Day — built specifically for high-skill drivers who want serious tandem time, technical layouts, and elevated intensity. This is not a standard open drift day.

  • Fewer drivers

  • Higher registration cost

  • Elevated driving level

  • Different layouts than typical events

The goal? Maximize high-quality tandem runs and advanced driving progression.

What Makes DDLE Different?

  • Limited driver count for cleaner runs

  • Layout variations not typically used during regular Drift Days

  • Heavy focus on tandem

  • Advanced-only skill level

  • Less waiting. More driving. More intensity.

If you’re looking for consistent proximity, higher-speed entries, and technical challenges — this is your environment.

How Can You Drive?

DDLE is application only. Drivers are selected based on experience and consistency. To qualify, you must meet the following standards:

  • Minimum of 6+ drift track events completed

  • Ability to drive all USAIR layouts cleanly and consistently

  • No frequent spinning or chronic understeer issues

  • Strong tandem experience (multiple events)

  • Comfortable leading and chasing at advanced pace

This event is built for drivers who are confident, predictable, and capable of maintaining close proximity without compromising safety. DDLE is where advanced drivers sharpen their edge.

CWSCC Grip & Drift

Central Wisconsin Sports Car Club Grip & Drift 2026

Lapping Days… with a twist. The Central Wisconsin Sports Car Club is teaming up with ASMotorsports to bring you a full day of Grip N Drift — where precision lap times and sideways style share the same track. Whether you're chasing apexes or sending it door-to-door, this is a dual-discipline experience designed for drivers who want maximum seat time and serious fun.

Event Overview

All cars are split into four run groups based on driver experience and vehicle performance.

  • Each run group is limited to approximately 8 cars

  • Groups rotate every 15 minutes

  • Each registered driver receives 1 hour of track time per session (morning or afternoon)

If you're here to slide — register for the Drift Group.

HPDE (Grip)

A traditional High Performance Driver Education (HPDE) lapping day gives you multiple 15–20 minute sessions on track. It’s one of the most efficient ways to develop skill, test your car’s limits, and build confidence in a controlled environment.

Expect structured run groups, clean passing zones, and plenty of seat time.

Drift

Same concept — just sideways. Drift sessions operate similarly to HPDE format. Cars will be released for open track time within their assigned session to slide as many laps as desired.

  • Tandem drifting is permitted

  • Drift experience level: Intermediate & Advanced only

  • This is not a beginner drift event

⚠️ There will be one designated No Drift Zone (a short section near the oval). Drifting in this section is strictly prohibited.

Pricing

  • 2025 CWSCC Members: $125 (Morning or Afternoon Session)

  • Non-Members: $140

Autocross with Fox Valley Sports Car Club

Autocross at USAIR

Hosted by Fox Valley Sports Car Club

Fox Valley Sports Car Club returns to USAIR for a full day of autocross competition — precision driving, cone-defined courses, and you against the clock.

Autocross is one of the most accessible and skill-focused forms of motorsports. No wheel-to-wheel racing. No contact. Just clean, technical runs where every tenth of a second counts.

What is Autocross?

  • Timed competition from start to finish

  • Course defined by cones

  • Hitting a cone or going off course adds time

  • Vehicles classed to compete against similar builds

Big horsepower isn’t required to be competitive — grip, balance, and driver input make the difference.

Who Can Participate?

Nearly any street car can autocross.

From daily drivers to track-prepped builds, you’ll see a wide range of vehicles competing. Convertibles require proper rollover protection.

Drivers must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Hold a valid driver’s license

  • Have a DOT or Snell-approved helmet

What to Expect

  • Structured run groups

  • Multiple timed runs

  • Course walk before competition

  • Experienced event staff and timing crew

  • Supportive, skill-focused environment

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or competing for class placement, autocross at USAIR delivers tight layouts, smooth pavement, and a competitive but welcoming atmosphere.

Come test your car. Sharpen your skills. See what you can do against the clock.

Midwest Modified by Martiniworks

Midwest Modified

Presented by Martiniworks

Welcome to Midwest Modified — an automotive showcase with heritage dating back to 2014. We’re excited to bring the name back at one of the most historic race tracks in the Midwest: USAIR. Midwest Modified blends an automotive showcase and drifting event into one, laying the groundwork for what we intend to grow into an annual Wisconsin weekend tradition.

Event Overview

This isn’t just a car show. This isn’t just a drift day. It’s both. Whether you’re here to drive, display, or spectate — Midwest Modified is built around the full automotive experience.

Drifting at Midwest Modified

Drivers will enjoy a full day of track time on:

  • Intermediate (Standard Layout)

  • Potentially Advanced Layout after lunch (based on registrations & preference)

We aim to keep drifting affordable and fun — with safety as our top priority.

All vehicles must pass tech inspection prior to going on track. From there, it’s about maximizing seat time:

Stay on track = more time for everyone.

Experienced staff and motorsport professionals will be present throughout the day.

Driver approval will initially be judged based on the information and photos submitted in your application.

About the Car Showcase

The showcase portion of Midwest Modified will highlight builds across the upper oval and throughout the facility grounds.

Expect:

  • All-day vehicle display

  • Trophy categories

  • Media coverage

  • Professional photography opportunities

  • Feature placements

Show vehicles will be initially reviewed based on application details and images submitted.

Your support of the showcase helps us expand Midwest Modified into a potential full weekend automotive festival in the coming years.

Midwest Modified is about culture. About performance. About showing what you’ve built — and driving it.

Final Bout

Final Bout

Back to Where It All Started. Final Bout exists to rekindle the excitement long-time drift fans felt when they first discovered drifting in the 90s and early 2000s. It’s about remembering why we fell in love with drifting in the first place.

The Purpose

Final Bout works to organize grassroots-level drivers into stronger, more connected teams — building real community and strengthening the sport from the ground up.

While professional drifting in the U.S. absolutely has value, it has steadily evolved toward:

  • Larger budgets

  • Full race engineering teams

  • Highly developed, purpose-built cars

  • A level of competition far removed from the average grassroots driver

Professional drifting remains an incredible spectacle. But at the ground level, many fans struggle to connect with million-dollar builds and factory-backed programs.

Final Bout brings it back to something relatable.

What Makes It Different

  • Team-based drifting

  • Grassroots drivers

  • Style-driven runs

  • Cohesion and chemistry over horsepower

  • Cars that feel real and attainable

This isn’t about the biggest budget. It’s about commitment, proximity, and team unity. It’s about the culture. Final Bout is a reminder that drifting started in parking lots, mountain roads, and small tracks — not boardrooms. If you’re connected to the roots of the sport, you’ll feel it immediately.

Midwest Modified

An Event Catered From The Midwest Car Culture | Presented by MartiniWorks

Pre-Registration is now OPEN.

Welcome to Midwest Modified; an automotive showcase that has heritage dating back to 2014. Returning to one of the most iconic drift tracks in the United States; USAIR. Bring your show car and your helmet, we’re going to have a day filled with some incredible driving (& vibes.) The goal is to combine an automotive showcase & drifting event into one; continuing our mission of establishing an annual weekend event right here in Wisconsin.

Tickets & Details

Costs: Starts at $20

Drivers - This event will feature a full-day of driving on unique layouts that you’ve probably never driven before. Our small drivers list will allow us to adjust layouts throughout the day, including unique elements found in sections from FinalBout layouts, Super D, Zoku, and ClubFR! (Target is 4 Layouts // 2 in morning, 2 in afternoon)

Car Showcase - This will be a full day display of your car; including trophy categories, media coverage, and more!

Spectators - Spectating tickets will be available at the gate. If you’d like to register your car for our Meet & Greet section OR showcase, please register your vehicle (required).

ABOUT MIDWEST MODIFIED

Midwest Modified is an event that aims to bring the motorsport and automotive community together. By combining drift, car show, music, food, and more, we aim to create a space where spectators and builders can enjoy a day of wicked driving, cars, and fun.

Ticketing

All attendees are required to purchase at least a spectator ticket (kids 10 & under are free!). However, if you have a modified car we’d love for you to register for the Meet & Green Section. If you have a Show Car, please register for the “Car Showcase” section.

If you only aim to only drift, simply select “Driver Ticket” as your main ticket. Additional packages are also available to our showcase folks & if you aim to show a car and drive your drift car! Please note the driving ticket only allows 1 person for entry. Additional spectator tickets will need to be purchased for any paddock support/team.

Drifting Midwest Modified

Hosted at USAIR Motorsports Park, Midwest Modified is opening up 40 exclusive driving tickets for the day to maximize nearly double the typical amount of seat time from a standard drift day at the track. Featuring a multitude of layouts, Midwest Modified will feature 3-4 layout changes throughout the day, along with a lunch time “driving challenge” for those willing to try out their full driving skill.

Safety is our #1 priority so all cars must be teched prior to getting out on track. Staff from previous events along with motorsport-experienced staff will be available throughout the event if needed. Driver approval will be initially judged off the information and images provided in the application.

About the Car Showcase

Have something special? We want to see it. Midwest Modified aims to host unique showcase vehicles throughout the grounds in a “concourse” style fashion. From the upper oval track to the park grounds area, cars will be available to check out, photograph, and learn about in a unique way at USAIR. This section is made for show cars and your support helps us continue to expand this event in the coming years to a potential weekend festival. Show cars will be initially judged off the information and images provided in the application.

Think of our Car Showcase as “the best of the best”—a curated collection of standout builds set against a backdrop that elevates every detail. Apply now to secure your spot, and let your show car take center stage at USAIR Motorsports Park. Your support today makes tomorrow’s weekend festival possible.

Meet & Greet Car Section

Have a modified ride you’re proud of? Our dedicated Meet & Greet area at USAIR Motorsports Park is the perfect place to show it off—even if your build is still a work in progress. We’ll save a spot for you and your in-the-making project, so you can mingle with fellow enthusiasts, swap tips, and get inspired.

Choosing USAIR Motorsports Park means:

  • Epic Backdrop: Park your car against the iconic track and pit buildings, giving your build a stage that photographs and videos love.

  • Trackside Vibes: Feel the roar of nearby engines and the buzz of paddock action—your car belongs in the middle of the celebration, not off in a parking lot.

  • Amenities on Hand: Restrooms, concessions, and seating are just steps away. Grab a coffee, relax under the grandstands, and keep the conversation flowing without chasing down facilities.

Think of our Meet & Greet as a laid-back gathering of modified cars, centered where the action happens. Whether you’re seeking feedback on that half-finished fender flares or just want to hang out with people who speak your language (staggered fitments and rolling rates), USAIR Motorsports Park is the place to be. Come park, connect with the community, and enjoy an incredible day.

HOW TICKETING WORKS

Spectator tickets will only be available at the gate, but if you have a modified car we would love to see you register for either the Meet & Greet section to show off your work-in-progress, or the car showcase section for a more intimate (& rad) experience of the show!

Day of Spectator ($20 per person) Includes: (1) wristband for entry

Meet & Greet ($30) Includes: Guaranteed Meet Parking | (2) wristbands for entry. | Entry into freebies
